He pointed out that from the data of the National Bureau of Statistics, the main economic operation indicators of the industry in the first three quarters continued to be in a small decline range, because the export of textile machinery is affected by weak demand in overseas markets and a high base, the export pressure is obvious, and the industry is still facing greater pressure. The overall performance is as follows: the industry income continues to be under pressure, and the profit level declines; The decrease of industry cost is greater than the decrease of revenue, and the proportion of three fees is slightly reduced. Industrial asset-liability ratio decreased slightly; Industry receivables and finished goods inventories decreased. Among them, in the various sub-sectors of textile machinery, from the sales point of view, the overall growth of weaving machinery, spinning and knitting machinery is relatively stable, and the sales of chemical fiber, nonwoven, printing and dyeing machinery have declined. Although the overall index is in a small decline range, the operation of some industry leaders is performing well, the concentration of the industry is rising, and the competitiveness of advantageous enterprises is improved.

He introduced that from the perspective of the survey of industry enterprises, the textile machinery Association conducted a survey on the operation of 111 textile machinery enterprises in the first three quarters of 2023. From the summary results, the overall pressure of enterprise management is obvious. According to the survey, 34.6% of enterprises' orders exceeded the level of the same period last year, and 60% of enterprises' capacity utilization rate was above 80%. At present, the primary problem facing enterprises is the lack of domestic and foreign market demand. For orders expected in the fourth quarter of 2023, 48.1% of enterprises expect to increase over the same period last year; To judge the annual expectations, enterprises in the textile machinery industry are still cautious.

In terms of imports and exports, according to customs statistics, the cumulative total of imports and exports of textile machinery in China from January to September was 5.635 billion US dollars, a decrease of 15.54%.
